You can easily customize these effects. Each effect may have several materials which can each be customized by changing their color, opacity, texture or whatever.
Animations and effects on these props work best by adjusting material opacity and visibility in the timeline to make effects appear or fade out when needed.
Use lights and adjust the Glow and Specular levels to help create the effect you need.
