Since movie "Avatar" directed by James Cameron shows in theaters, 3D stereo technology becomes well-known by more and more people. Let me introduce 3D Stereo technology and some 3D videos to you in this month of Hot Knowledge.

What is Stereoscopy?

Stereoscopy (also called stereoscopic or 3-D imaging) is any technique capable of recording three-dimensional visual information or creating the illusion of depth in an image.

The best testament to how bad the 3D conversion for Clash of the Titans is is how many people have either mentioned it to me or have written about it themselves. I'm not talking about a bunch of movie geeks in an echo chamber, either. Just scanning through status updates and texts last weekend told the tale. It was the first time I can recall people actively regretting having seen a movie in 3D over 2D.
